Fundraiser for Trestle Gallery

Trestle Gallery needs your help! As a small, 501c3 non-profit, Trestle has been hard-hit by the pandemic, and has lost much of its funding. We are in dire need of funds to sustain us through the rest of the year until we get our next grant dispersal. Going forward we are working to restructure our organization so that we are better prepared in case of catastrophe, but the harsh reality is that we face closing our doors without immediate support.

Trestle was founded in 2012 by artists and supporters of the arts, to meet a need to help local artists, curators, and educators in reaching a more expansive community. In the past 8 years, Trestle has showcased the work of over 2000 artists, fostered a supportive residency program, spread knowledge and inspiration through our wonderful educators, and provided countless opportunities for emerging and underrepresented artists.

The name “Trestle” is inspired by a type of structure built to pass over obstacles. Like its namesake, the organization was designed to be a support for artists, providing opportunities for them to show their work, network, and learn from each other. We are now reaching out to you to help us bridge a financial gap from our tenuous current situation, to a more stable future where we can continue to provide an enriching platform for artists, curators, friends, and neighbors.

Proceeds from this emergency fundraiser will be used towards gallery rent, exhibition and programming expenses, employment for our dedicated staff, organization restructuring, community outreach, and rejuvenating our educational workshops that we sadly had to shut down recently due to pandemic circumstances. With your help, we hope that Trestle will not only survive these tough times, but grow to be an even more nurturing and fulfilling space.
